Apex Elite Challenges website (apexelitechallenges.com): your activity, challenge participation, and leaderboard rankings are synchronised so your progress remains consistent across our web and mobile platforms. Anthropic, Inc. (AI Coach): messages you send to the Coach, together with a limited summary of your profile and recent activity, are transmitted to Anthropic's Claude models to generate personalised responses. Chat messages are processed solely for generating responses and improving the quality, safety, and continuity of the coaching experience. Anthropic does not use customer-submitted API data to train its models. Resend (Transactional Email): your name, email address, and message content may be processed by Resend solely to deliver support and transactional emails. Stripe (Payments): if you subscribe to Apex Pro, your name, email address, billing details and payment card information are processed by Stripe, Inc. to take and manage your subscription payments. Card details are entered directly with Stripe and are never stored on our servers. We only keep your subscription status, renewal date and Stripe customer reference. Expo / EAS (Push Notifications & App Delivery): your device push token is processed to deliver notifications and app-related services. OpenStreetMap (Map Tiles): only the coordinates necessary to display the visible map area are transmitted. Your full activity route is never uploaded to OpenStreetMap. Analytics & Diagnostics: we may collect anonymous usage analytics, crash reports, and performance data to improve app reliability, security, and user experience. We never sell your personal data and do not share personal data with advertisers.
Some of our processors (e.g., Anthropic, Resend, Expo) are based in the United States. When we transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework to ensure an equivalent level of protection.

Apex Fit Hub is intended solely for individuals aged 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. We implement industry-standard technical and organisational security measures designed to protect your personal information. These measures include: • TLS/HTTPS encryption for data transmitted between your device and our servers; • Secure password hashing using bcrypt, Argon2, or equivalent industry-standard algorithms; • Role-based access controls; • Secure cloud infrastructure and database protections; • Routine monitoring, maintenance, and security reviews. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. While we strive to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. Where required by applicable law, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority and affected individuals of qualifying personal-data breaches within the legally required timeframes.
Location (GPS): only while you actively start a tracked activity. You can deny this permission and still use the rest of the app. Motion & Fitness / Activity Recognition: required to count steps from your device pedometer. Notifications: optional, only used for workout reminders and weekly streak digests. Camera / Photos (optional): only if you choose to upload a profile picture. All permissions can be revoked at any time in your phone's system settings, and we will respect the change immediately.
When you intentionally start a GPS-tracked activity, Apex Fit Hub may continue recording location data while the app is running in the background or your device is locked. • Background location access is used exclusively to continue recording an activity that you have intentionally started. • Location tracking automatically stops when you end the activity or press the STOP button. • Apex Fit Hub never collects location data in the background when an activity is not actively being recorded. • Foreground service notifications and platform indicators are used to clearly inform you when location tracking is active.
The mobile app does not use browser cookies. We do use anonymous device identifiers (push tokens, install IDs) strictly for delivering notifications and crash diagnostics. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs.
You may permanently delete your Apex Fit Hub account at any time by navigating to: Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account Once confirmed, your account will be scheduled for deletion and your personal data will be removed from active systems in accordance with Section 6 of this Privacy Policy. Certain information may be retained where required by law, for security purposes, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our legal rights.
The AI Coach generates suggestions automatically, but these are not legally or significantly impactful decisions — they are training suggestions you are free to accept or ignore. You can always request human review by contacting us.
If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this screen and, where required by law, notify you by email or in-app message. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the new policy.
For any privacy-related question, request, complaint, or data-rights inquiry, please contact: Email: support@apexfithub.com If you are located in the United Kingdom, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office if you believe your personal data has been handled unlawfully. If you are located in the European Union or EEA, you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
